Sundance is located on 5000 acres of pristine wilderness, and the resort has done a fantastic job of making this space available to explorers. There are 26 kilometers of trails that are groomed each day and are available for skating and cross country skiing. Additionally, there are 10 kilometers of dedicated trails through the woods for snowshoers. Sundance’s Cross Country center is the starting point, and trail fees are very reasonable. The center also periodically offers guided showshoe and naturalist tours through the woods. Instruction is available for traditional, skating, and telemark skiing.
